Unfortunately, the most recent lineup of Tunesmith has disbanded. We're also taking the opportunity to have some medical and personal issues taken care of.

Don't dispair, though. Tunesmith will be back. Watch the site for news and updates on what's going on.

First, we'd like to thank everyone that came to our show at Flicka's on the 31st and everyone that made it out to Laughlin to see us last weekend. We had an incredible time and really enjoyed playing with with Blackout. If you can make it to one of their shows in California, don't miss these guys -- they put on an excellent show and do an amazing job sounding like The Scorpions. I though we were listening to Klaus himself but it was Tim!! Incredible job, guys.

This Wednesday, August 18th, we're going to be playing all night at Thunder Pass in Apache Junction (yes, Apache Junction...yes, Wednesday night). We hope you'll all take Thursday off to join us for a hump-day party in the East Valley. Check the shows page for all the details and directions.

Maybe it will be easier to get you folks out on Friday instead. So...Friday night (August 20th) we have an all-night show at the Parkview Tap House in Fountain Hills. This will be one of our first shows with the bars open later. New Arizona bar hours have the lush-houses now open until 2am. This means that we'll probably start a little later than usual and will play later, too. Looks like we'll have to get used to the Vampire lifestyle -- we hope you join us...

We've had another of those last-minute bookings for this Saturday (July 31st) at Flicka's in South Scottsdale (near Scottsdale Road and Mcdowell). We'll be playing all evening starting at around 9 and playing until close. Flicka's is a great club with lots of people, lots of room and NO COVER CHARGE. Please help us make a good showing and spend your Saturday night with us -- check the shows page for the address and a map. We'll also be playing some of the new material we've been writing for the upcoming album so come and hear Sticks and Stones and Ode to a Junkie and let us know what you think. Let all your friends know and drag them out for a great night of music and debauchery.

The band will be headed back up to Laughlin next weekend for a Saturday night (August 7th) show at the Avi Hotel and Casino. We're looking forward to sharing the night with Blackout, a Scorpions tribute band from Southern California. We'll be playing a one-hour set of almost all-original stuff and Blackout will finish the night. Make your plans to join us now...

Last weekend in Bullhead City/Laughlin was, as usual, an absolute blast. It was really great to see a bunch of friends make the trip and come party with us, too -- big thanks to everyone that did.

We're playing a private party on July 4th so we won't be be playing anywhere publicly this holiday. Look for us around Phoenix again soon.

We also have another new booking that's very cool -- on Saturday, August 7th, we have a show at the Avi Casino in Laughlin. We share the bill with a Scorpions tribute band from California called Blackout. This should be a very cool show and we're really excited about it. We hope as many of you as possible will make it out to see us. Until then...

A huge thanks to everyone that showed up to our last-minute show on Saturday at Schmedley's. It was terrific fun and we hope to be back there really soon.

This coming weekend we'll be in Bullhead City for another of our favorite out-of-town adventures at Lazy Harry's. Will we have strippers this time? Who knows -- all we know is that we have to get out of this heat. There's still time for anyone to make their reservations and join us on the Colorado River. We'll be staying at the Colorado Belle hotel/casino in Laughlin and hope to see a bunch of friends there.

Also, look for us to premier a brand new song we've been working on along with a few new covers.

New Web Site Stuff - You'll notice a new function to sign up for our email list on the web site. Just click the button to the left and send us your email address. It's the easy -- no names or addresses or "opt-outs" to fill in. We'll send you information and reminders before every show as well as any other useless band information and/or shameless plugs for shows, music or merchandise. Sign up NOW!

Last Minute Show - there was a cancellation at Schmedley's in north Scottsdale so we got an all-night show on Saturday, June 19th (click here for the details). We haven't played in Scottsdale for a while so we hope everyone in the area will come check out the show. We've added some new covers recently including songs from Godsmack and Nickelback. Let's show this bar that short notice doesn't matter -- we can still pack the place!

Next weekend (June 25th and 26th) has us back in Bullhead City playing the Colorado River's rowdiest double-wide party spot, Lazy Harry's. You never know what's going to happen at this place so come join us in a road trip adventure. We usually stay across the river at the Colorado Belle for all-night gambling and drinking after the show. It's not too late to book a room and get out of town with us. See you there...

There's new functionality up and running on the site. Most importantly, we have the Pictures page up and it's pretty cool -- take a look. Also, we have the Band History, Fan Art and Street Team pages running. Enjoy...

This coming weekend we have another very exciting opportunity. On Saturday (May 22nd), Firebird Raceway is hosting SCO Nights. This in an event open for the public to drag race sport compact cars on the quarter mile. In addition to the heads-up racing, car shows and burnout contests, we'll be performing between 8 and 10pm. Details, prices (children under 12 are free) and a discount coupon are available at their web site (see above). Links are also available from our Shows page. Hope to see you all there...

What a killer weekend! We took first place in the Colorado Belle's Battle of the Bands. There were eight other great bands including second place winners Soulful Horizons from Phoenix and third place locals Brimfire. The competition was tough and we had to perform first (at noon) but the outcome was really incredible. A big thanks goes out to The Colorado Belle, Lucky98 and all the new friends and fans we made.

We have this coming weekend off but will be back at the Parkview Tap House in Fountain Hills for an all-night show on Friday, April 30th. Until then...

We've got some new functionality working on the site now. In addition to the Shows page, we've now added Contacts, News Archives and Downloads pages. If you haven't heard the 4-song EP yet, download the songs and check them out. We're very excited about them and it's just the start of our next album. If you have any trouble downloading the mp3's, please send us a message from the Contacts page.

Next weekend we'll be in Laughlin, Nevada for the Colorado Belle's Battle of the Bands. We've placed for the last two years and hope to do so again. If anyone wants to get out of town, we'd love to have your support. Check the Shows page for the finer details. Our next show in the Phoenix area will be at the Parkview Tap House in Fountain Hills on Friday, April 30th. Hope to see you all there...

Well, this is it...the new web site. As you can see, it's up and running with minimal functionality (only this page and the Shows page). Watch for more stuff to get implemented in the next few weeks (as time permits). If it takes a little longer, please be patient as we haven't been able to quit our day jobs just yet.

The next piece of exciting news is our new EP. We spent a whopping one day in the studio laying down the tracks. The music was all tracked live -- Paul then added the vocal tracks. We came back about a week later and finished the mix-down in a few hours. However, don't let the speed with which things were done fool you. The result is a terrific high-energy recording showcasing our latest tunes. In addition, this is the first chance we've had to record with Aubrey playing bass. This is something we've been itching to do for the last year and it was well worth the wait. But hey, don't take our word for it, listen for yourself! Come to any of our shows and we'll get you a free copy. When the Listen/Download page is running, you'll be able to download mp3's for free.
